Original Release: Mobile, 2004, Gameloft

A strip poker game from the pre-smartphone era that somehow snuck onto the Wii, the Nintendo-approved version gets fairly saucy but stops short of actual nudity.

Get ready to pull out your dongle and waggle away, as Sexy Poker forces you to use the remote pointer controls to navigate basic games of Texas Hold ‘Em and blackjack with a series of six animu girls.
This being a Wii release, don’t expect nudity (though it was present in the Europe-only mobile phone release). Your final reward is usually the girl in her panties with top strategically covered by some item. It’s still a bit more risque than one would expect for an official release on a Nintendo console though. Art isn’t too bad either, it’s somewhat reminiscent of HuniePop.
You can play either game type with each girl to try to get them almost-nekkid, but blackjack is definitely more of a tedious grind. It’s loaded against you given that it doesn’t play by standard casino dealer “must draw to 16/stand on 17” rules, the girl can make decisions after each card draw all the way to the end and gets to react to the cards you draw.
Texas Hold ‘Em is more straightforward, the girl starts with $200 and if she exhausts that she can sell some clothes for an additional $200 (though you don’t get to look unless you win the particular hand she makes the exchange in).
With both game types the girl gets to put clothes back on if she wins enough money from you. It’s also kinda slow with a bunch of clothing layers, like the girl starts with just her hat and shoes, can’t even get the socks off early for the feet guys.
The game doesn’t give you any options beyond that. No online play or multiplayer, and you just have one girl to grind away at at any given time. Whatever clothing status you get them to is automatically saved in a gallery, but if you quit a game or get bankrupted you have to start the whole process from the beginning with the current girl.
I was hoping there was something more to this due to the decent art, but it’s exactly the sort of low-effort product you would expect from a strip poker game on the Wii.
