This is easily the weirdest f’n game of video poker that exists. It begins as some tentacle beast creeps up on a schoolgirl, apparently you work to free her from captivity as she gives you the “kill me” look. All accompanied by a light loungey tune to make it extra bizarre.
Your quest is hampered by the worst rules of any video poker game ever. You’ll play for points rather than money, but that isn’t gonna help anything. Losing a hand puts you in such a tentacle hole it’s almost impossible to recover, as lower-value hands only give back a scanty amount of points. Initially the only way to win seems to be to save-scum for a few big hands in a row. If you go down to -1000 points the anime girl is killed gruesomely – true high stakes video poker!
On the flip side, you get gratuitous hardcore pics of tentacle bizness at every +1000 points. However, there is One Weird Trick to winning this game. If you get a bad hand, you can just hold all your cards and not lose any points. You can do this for as long as you like to safely grind along with no risk, only changing cards out when you’re dealt something of value. Very slow and tedious, but it seems like it’s either that or save scum or just quickly lose.
Win the whole game and get impregnated by an alien, or lose and get impaled … you decide which you prefer!
