Original Release: Hacker International, 1988, NES
Possibly the first adult pinball title, Fairy Pinball provides a mere two boards neither of which are exactly well-crafted. Also not sure where the fairies are supposed to be.

Fairy Pinball features two of the shittiest pinball tables ever made, maybe the two absolute worst … easily the two worst I can personally think of anyway. Acconpanied by ball physics that are weirdly sluggish after it is hit.
Let’s try Midway first … well, it has two ridiculous trenches for the ball to plummet down on either side of the screen PLUS some weird setup with two right flippers, which the ball can and will frequently slip between to kill you. After three tries on this board I was still doing miserably, but the game took pity on me and showed me half a nipperu on the way out.
On to Asteroid … I guess this is technically slightly better as it has a more traditional flipper setup but it also still has the big trenches on either side that the ball usually winds up in pretty quickly. I feel like kids in the 80s would have set an arcade on fire if it had nothing but pinball tables designed like this.
Anyway, as if this wasn’t enough, you can’t just start a new game on the same table when you run out of balls … you gotta flip the disk, wait for it to load the title screen in again, pick the table, then flip the disk and load back into the table you were just at. Unlicensed porn game developers did not send their best, folks.
Well, Hacker International was actually capable of some creative and decent games sometimes but this one is a total dud.
