One of Hacker International’s more technically impressive strip-off games, I actually found this more fun to play than any of the Nintendo golf games for the NES/Famicom. Is it the best golf game on the system?
As of this writing there is no English translation, but really there’s just a menu with two choices at the outset and this turns out to select your golf gal: Pink Hair or Blue Hair. Each one has their own pics to play for, as well as their own unique nine-hole course. The amount of pics you get at the end of the course ranges from a lone tile with the top of one girl’s head, to a slideshow of two or three nekkid poses, depending on your final score; you need to be at least around par to get any kind of goodies.
There is a dab of weird physics, mostly in how the wind is handled, but the gameplay is actually mostly solid (if about as primitive as you’d expect for a mid-80s 8-bit system). It apes the early Nintendo golf games to some degree, but has a much easier-to-deal-with swing bar. You can also choose your clubs manually and pause the game to scroll the screen around and survey the course.
This one is in the funny position of being one of the more enjoyable-to-play porn games on the Famicom Disk, but the nudie rewards are rather uninspiring and not particularly well-drawn.
