As the tin says, this isn’t really strictly a game; it was meant to be an “interactive sex simulator” using the finest in 1992 MS Paint technology.
You won’t find objectives here, or even satisfaction for your virtual duder or his virtual woman; there’s nothing to do but move the mouse repetitively in a limited range of motion to Simu the Sex, until you get tired of such diversions and right-click to go back to the Menu O’ Positions. Animation is minor, with the girl (and sometimes guy) randomly interjecting a lo-fi voice clip or some panting and moaning.
While I don’t think it’s gonna impart Tantric Guru sex knowledge on you, or even be any fun to play, SimuSex does have a couple noteworthy qualities. The most interesting thing is the soundtrack, with a full piece provided for each individual sex act! There’s basically an entire SimuSex album in this game … some of it actually isn’t bad either. The other thing is that it looks like the head of the Church of the SubGenius guy is going down on the girl in the cunnilingus phase.
There are also some longtime rumors that a young Tim Sweeney (of Epic Games fame) was the developer, but I don’t think that was ever confirmed. The company that published it, Erosoft, closes the game with a big sales pitch about its upcoming highly advanced products but then seemed to disappear off the face of the earth without another single release. 1992 was the year that Epic really took off, so … ??
