Very long on the escaping and short on the alien raping, this simple adventure doesn’t last long but has its bits of humor

Games with the rapings in them are a sensitive topic, so I want to open by reassuring readers that this game’s title turns out to be a little dark humor rather than a description of its objectives (or even anything that actually happens).
As it turns out it’s more like “alien attempt to rape, but in a very indirect way via forced imprisonment, which you’re given unlimited time to figure your way out of.” As games with “rape” in the title go it’s really about as lighthearted as things are gonna get. We begin with a brief introduction to a world of the future (accompanied by jaunty tune), in which our heroine Alotta Aynoos visits a supposed “glamour modeling” gig and finds out it’s actually one of those tube site casting couch deals run by a sleazy alien.
Fleeing into a dressing room and locking herself in, Alotta must now find her way out of this predicament. Fortunately, the pressure is low as the perv alien just decides to starve her out or something rather than find a key and go in after her. It turns out to be a very short adventure of just a few rooms as Alotta uses items on hand to puzzle through the back-of-house area of the porn studio looking for a way out.
Aside from just plain being very short, it’s a bit wanting as an adventure game in a couple of other ways. One is that it opts for that Grim Fandango-esque “menuless” interface, where you double-click the left button to interact or use an item on something. General lack of feedback sometimes leaves you wondering if something didn’t register, however, rather than just being something you can’t interact with.
Compounding that is the fact that the game tries to stretch out its very short length a bit with “use cat hair to make a mustache” approaches to solutions sometimes. Everything you can interact with is labeled, so you generally see what you’re supposed to use or do right off in a room, but then it throws you when the straightforward way doesn’t work and you have to do something strange and roundabout instead.
It was kind of a fun idea, but so little ends up being done with it that I kinda question the point of bothering … if you’re looking for adult content that’s also limited to a quick topless flash as your reward for beating the game. Seems like this was just a tune-up for some AGS developers that went on to do more ambitious things, though.
