Just like Bin Laden in a Blender, you can’t get mad at Sex Games for not delivering what it promises on the tin.
We take control of Dagwood Bumpstead as he mounts his good lady wife, attempting to satisfy her repeatedly before the ol’ Potency meter hits the skids. This is solely controlled by joystick waggling (on port 2), mostly left-to-right but there’s an unannounced switch to up-and-down as you go missionary in the second panel. Make it through one panel, the Arby’s good service bell rings and then you uncover a new position – just like an Advent calendar!
I’m pretty sure the game is rigged, as you quickly raise the lust meter but when it hits about 3/4 full it just starts falling randomly no matter what you do. I think a little randomization was introduced to make it more challenging, it would have been too easy just repetitively waggling the stick, but they screwed up the balance and it becomes way too cheap and hard. I only made it to the second panel once out of a few tries, and had to use cheatz to see the rest of the game … for some reason Andy Capp tags in for panel four, and then you get quite a gruesome surprise for the final panel! That’s it though, no ending or anything.
This was from back when men (or at least teenagers) weren’t afraid to put their names on the title screens of horny games, and a little digging revealed that brother outfit Tomas and Markus Landgraf didn’t release anything else under the “Landisoft” name, but they did go on to develop two commercial non-porn Commodore games for another publisher before going on to more distinguished careers in the sciences.
